The TWAS Council, elected by members every three years, is responsible for supervising all Academy affairs.

The TWAS 23rd General Meeting (Tianjin, China, 18 September 2010) elected a new Council for the period 2013-2015.

Excellence in science series: Excellence in Science: Profiles of Research Institutions in Developing Countries is a series of booklets published by TWAS highlighting successful scientific institutions in the South. Eleven institutions have so far been profiled. The volumes are also available for download as PDF files.

SciDipl: How can we ensure that the science and foreign policy communities, in any country, can learn from one another? That, in a nutshell, is what the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) and TWAS are seeking to achieve through their 'International Science & Diplomacy Programme'.
