Support for International Scientific Meetings

With funds provided by the Italian government, TWAS encourages the organization of high-level international and regional scientific activities in developing countries by offering financial assistance to the organizers of such events. Deadlines for applications: 1 June for meetings to be held during January-June of the following year, and 1 December for meetings to be held during July-December of the following year.

Grants for Computer Science Meetings in African Countries

With funds provided by Microsoft Research Ltd, TWAS and AAS encourage the organization of scientific activities related to computer science in Africa by offering financial assistance to the organizers of conferences, workshops, symposia and special meetings held in Africa. Deadlines: 1 June 2011 for meetings to be held between January and June 2012; 1 December 2011 for meetings to be held between July and December 2012.
