20 October. TWAS has just announced the election of 50 new members.
Durban, South Africa. Forty-five new 'Fellows' and five new 'Associate Fellows' have just been elected into the TWAS membership. The election took place this morning at the Academy's 20th General Meeting and 11th General Conference in Durban, South Africa. The names, affiliations and citations of the new TWAS members, who will be inducted during TWAS's 21th General Meeting next year, are listed here: Members Elected 2009
