TWAS Fellowships: Call for applications now open

TWAS Fellowships: Call for applications now open

TWAS is now accepting applications for its postgraduate, postdoctoral, visiting scholars and advanced research fellowship programmes. The fellowships are offered to scientists from developing countries and are tenable at centres of excellence in various countries in the South, including Brazil, China, India, Malaysia, Mexico, Pakistan, Thailand and Kenya. Eligible fields include: agricultural and biological sciences, medical and health sciences, chemistry, engineering, astronomy, space and earth sciences, mathematics and physics.

Excellence in science series

excellence in science seriesExcellence in Science: Profiles of Research Institutions in Developing Countries is a series of booklets published by TWAS highlighting successful scientific institutions in the South. Ten institutions have so far been profiled: INBio (Costa Rica), CBS (Tunisia), IMRA (Madagascar), CDRI (India), IMPLAD (China), IHI (Tanzania), SAIAB (South Africa), NARL (Uganda), ORI (Botswana) and IMS (Zanzibar, Tanzania). The volumes are also available for download as PDF files.
