Database of centres of excellence in ICT launched
The EuroAfrica-ICT project, of which TWAS is a participant, has launched a database of African centres of excellence in the field of information and communication technologies (ICT).
A database of almost 100 centres of excellence in ICT from XX African countries has been launched by the EuroAfrica-ICT project, of which TWAS is a member.
The database, which aims at providing key information to potential research collaborators in Africa, Europe and elsewhere, should be considered a 'work in progress' and will expand as more centres are added.

Excellence in Science: Profiles of Research
Institutions in Developing Countries is a series of booklets published
by TWAS highlighting successful scientific institutions in the South.
