The journal S.A.P.I.EN.S (Surveys And Perspectives Integrating ENvironment and Society) seeks to provide a platform for interdisciplinary dialogue, with a view to fostering developments in sustainability research. The journal has published a special edition focusing on cities and climate change.
The edition, which can be found online at sapiens.revues.org/index835.html, includes articles on climate change and urban planning in Southeast Asia by Belinda Yuen, National University of Singapore, and Leon Kong, AKO Knowledge Solutions; China's urban energy challenge by Stephen A. Hammer, Joint US-China Collaboration on Clean Energy; and cities and our environmental future by Saskia Sassen, Columbia University, USA.
